Lead Operator
Sunlite Plastics, a division of Diversatek, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Operator in our Medical Tubing Division in Germantown, Wisconsin. We are a plastics extrusion company that provides custom tubing to medical markets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform extrusion and packaging per customer approved documentation and specification
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing areas
- Ensure integrity of production by performing inspection checks on all operators
- Make machine adjustments as needed
- Follow safety policies
- Ensure production personnel are following policies and procedures
- Train and direct all production personnel in their daily functions
- Follow and execute daily production schedule
- Setup of extrusion tooling and equipment
- Run extruder/compounder as needed
- Initiate defective material reports and scrap tickets
- Complete daily production paperwork
- Follow all required ISO regulations as communicated through the Quality Management System
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Proficient in operating production machinery and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and other departments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
